He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pickens and Essie Pickens; and his son Tracy Pickens. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pickens of Rocky Face; his sons, Tony Pickens of Rocky Face and Terry (Werley Pickens); his brothers, Richard (Mary Pickens) and Billy Joe (Kim Pickens); his siblings-in-law, Pete, Brenda Roberson of Tunnel Hill, Faye Roberson of Dalton, Laverne Roberson of Tunnel Hill and Nora Lee Pickens of Sugar Valley; his grandchildren, Jordan Pickens, Joshua Pickens and Lake Pickens; and his great grandchild Gavin Pickens.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2627 Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
