He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Floyd Powers; his siblings, Gordon Powers and Patricia Whitener; his daughter Terrie Rhodes; his son-in-law Johnny Rhodes of Ringgold; his stepdaughters, Shawna Stokes, Melinda Stokes and DeAnna Gibson of Chatsworth; his mother Emma Powers of Dalton; and his grandchildren, Christian Rhodes, Haley Rhodes, Skylar Rhodes and Ethan Rhodes. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
