He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Clay and Ethel Bain Clay; his son Brian Galen Clay; and his siblings, Peggy, Sandra, Wanda, Travis and Jackie.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sue Brown Clay; his children, Kyle Clay (Marcia), Tommy Clay (Shea) and Kimly Barnette; his grandchildren, Kara Klemke, Jessie Jones (Luke), Kristopher Barnette (Hannah), Skye Clay, Cameron Clay (Kelsey) and Carson Clay; his great grandchildren, Heaven Klemke, Ariana Klemke, Carter Jones, Isaac Barnette, Easton Clay and Rebekah Barnette; and his brother Fred Clay, Jr. (Jeanette). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family has respectfully requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75231.
