He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McDowell and Cora Lindsey McDowell; and his son Rex Crowley. He is survived by: his wife Brenda McDowell of Rockmart, GA; his sons, Jeff McDowell of Marietta, GA and Keith Crowley (Clarissa) of Rockmart, GA; his grandchildren, Allen, Paula and Marci; and his great grandchildren, Mary Kathryn and Kinsley Marie.
