He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Barber and Iris Marks Barber; and his sister Trudy Barber. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Thompson Barber; his children, Steven Barber (Ann) and Sherri Barber; his granddaughter Rebecca Barber; his stepgrandchildren, Shelby Hill and Jackson Martin; and his brother Max Barber (Martha).
