It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Rainey in Rockmart, Georgia, born in Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon Willis and Lily Mae Rainey; his wife Margie Rainey; and his siblings, Lona Francis Hogue, Willie Mae Ford, Maggie Ray Smith and Jimmy Wayne Rainey.
He is survived by: his sister Annie Ruth Gurley of Dallas, GA..
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Rainey safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
