He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Vivian Jones and Frances Odessa Grime Jones; his wife Mary Ella Harrell Jones; his sons, Randall Jones, James Jones and Gerald Jones; his siblings, Sara Jo Merritt, Walter Jones and William "Buck" Jones; and his grandson Wayne Agan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Frances (Cliff Brown) and Wanda Browning (Brenda Jones) of Buchanan; his daughters-in-law, Janice Jones of Rockmart and Melissa Jones of Aragon; his sister Lynn; his brother-in-law Danny Bailey of Rockmart; and his brother Glynn Jones of Rockmart. He is also survived by grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild; as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other family members.
