She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Stella Reece Johnson; her husband Haden Elrod; her children, Terri Freeze, Debbie Barnhill and Rick Elrod; her siblings, Dottie Hawthorne and Joseph Johnson; and her brother-in-law Mike Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Lee (Robert); her sister Martha Morgan; her siblings-in-law, Sivie Johnson and Elliott Hawthorne; her son-in-law Jeff Freeze; her granddaughters, Megan Freeze and Brittney Love (Steven); and her great grandchild Eleanor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Elrod safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
