It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mickey Rae Beason Spires (Rockmart, Georgia), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Luster Beason and Lottie Belle Chatham Beason. She is survived by: her husband Howard Spires of Rockmart; her children, Phillip Spires (Julie) of Moultrie and Rena Hames (Tom) of Rockmart; and her sisters, Sharon Hall (Donnie) of Moultrie and Gail Young (Jimmy) of Doerun. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Cool Springs Church Cemetery with Pastor.
