It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Maton Jeffers of Rockmart, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Maton and Dorothy Sue Sims Maton. She is survived by: her husband Jay Jeffers; her daughter Lena Kelsey Leathers (Chad); her stepchildren, Kaleb Jeffers and Zakary Jeffers; her grandchildren, Andrew Caswell, Brantley Caswell, Riley Leathers and Eli Leathers; and her siblings, Sybil Atkins (Bobby), Larry "Skinny" Maton, Dennis Maton (Kappy), Joyce Maton and Sharon Brewer (Robbie).
Flowers will be accepted or if you wish donations may be made in her memory to her church Rockmart 2nd Baptist Church.
