He is survived by: his wife Virginia Elaine Glass Stringer; his sons, James Kenneth Stringer of Cartersville, Clinton Stringer of Cartersville, Matthew Marion Stringer, Jr. of Cartersville and Jason Lee Stringer (Melissa) of Cartersville; his siblings, Margie Hembree and Donny Stringer; and his grandchildren, Kayla Stringer, Tyler Lee Stringer, Joshual Lee Stringer, Samantha Stringer, Dustin Stringer and Jenna Stringer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
