We bid farewell to Mary Jane Chandler of Rockmart, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Mary Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Mary Jane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Jane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Holland and Pauline Smith Holland; and her granddaughter Sunny Pinkard. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Duke, Jim "Sonny" Pinkard (Angie), David Pinkard (Rhonda) and Tracey Duke (David); and her siblings, Agnes White, Fleda Robertson, Shirley Gaston, David Mitchell and Donald Mitchell. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
