She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Chupp and Maggie Martin Chupp; her husband Robert Scroggs; her children, Douglas Coalson and Linda Elizabeth Coalson; and her siblings, Jewell Chupp, Roy Chupp, Martin Chupp, Colie Chupp, Vastie Lewis, Marie Weaver, Lucille Blackmon and Willie Mae Waldrop.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Karen (Ricky Holten), Terry (Denise Coalson), Donna (Shannon Privett) and Lisa Wishart; and her niece Helen Smith. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
