He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lewis Waters, Sr. and Betty Brewer Waters; his wife Melody Waters; his daughter Melinda Waters; and his brother Herman Lewis Waters, Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Waters, Jean Calderwood and Stacy McCrae. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
