She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fred and Florence Augusta Parks; her husband Robert James Freeman Sr.; her brothers, Raymond Parks, Bobby Parks and Gary Parks; and her granddaughter Crystal Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Robbie Freeman (Martha), Joseph "PeeWee" Freeman (Esther), Robert "Bo" Freeman (Patricia), Tommy Freeman (Karen) and Stasia Childers (Randy); her grandchildren, Charles Spinks, Cristina Spinks, Lindsey Freeman, Alyssa Freeman, Jamie Freeman, Megan Parker, Travis Freeman, Madison Freeman and Christian Russell; and her siblings, Carolyn Pitts and Thurmond Parks. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
