She was predeceased by: her son Brent Eugene Waters; her husband Billy Gene Waters (Bill); her parents, Arthur Clemons and Essie Mae Shepherd Tate; her brother Donald Eugene Tate; and her son-in-law Michael Steven Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Eric David Waters (Kathy) of Rome and Jean Waters Evans of Rome; her grandchildren, Laura Katherine Waters McKinney (Wallace) of Chattanooga, William Berry Waters (Jana) of Rome, Steven Brent Evans (McKenna) of Rome and Alexis Claire Evans of Rome; her great grandchildren, Mary Wallace McKinney of Chattanooga and Anna Berry Waters of Rome; and her brother Claude Lee Tate (Doris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rockmart First United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Waters.
