He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Franklin Powell; and his nephew Zach Powell. He is survived by: his mother Betty Brown Powell; his daughter Jada Richey; his grandchildren, Truman Richey and Vada Hatling; and his siblings, Michel Powel, Benny Powell, Calvin "Cokkie" Powell, Raymond Powell, Vickie Cole and Connie Gober. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
