With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Parris Shuman (Rockmart, Georgia), born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Parris and Ophelia Parris; her husband John Richard Shuman; her brothers, William Walter Parris and James Loyd Parris; and her daughter-in-law Shelley Shuman.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard M., Debbie Shuman, Keith Shuman, Steven Shuman, Trina Shuman, Chris Sr. and Angie Shuman; and her siblings, Geneva Berry, Fay Rudeseal, Carolyn Speicher, Reba Swafford, Cathy Ogle and Jesse Parris. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
