He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Trippe Layfield. He is survived by: his father John Wiley Layfield, Jr. of Rockmart, GA.; his daughter Mindy Arp (Ron) of Rockmart, GA; and his granddaughters, Sadie and Sophie Arp of Rockmart.
