With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Clifton Leggett of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leggett and Martha Maranda Powers Leggett; his grandson Joshua Tyler Woods; his son-in-law Jimmy F. Woods; and his brother Thomas "Tommy" Leggett.

He is survived by: his daughters, Malinda Woods of Taylorsville, Melanie Hitchcock (Parris) of Aragon and Lana Larkin (John) of Rockmart; his sisters, Patsy McCart, Bonnie Sue Powers, Bonnie Kendra Gregory and Raeann LaJaunie Hensley; his grandchildren, Jessica Woods Caverly, Jacob "Jake" Larkin, Hanna Hitchcock Wright and Nicholas "Nick" Larkin; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Grace Caverly, Brooks Joshua Caverly, Zoey Jade Larkin and Ava James Larkin.
