It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calvin Jarvis Jr. of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin Jarvis, Sr. and Barbara Jean Woodson Jarvis; and his sister Susan Jarvis. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Jarvis, April Hulsey (Jason) and Janet Jarvis; his grandchildren, Devon Hopkins, Cody Hopkins, Haley Jarrell, Ashley Jarrell, Heather Jarrell, Brandy O'Neal, Jacob O'Neal, Zachary O'Neal, Dakota O'Neal and Jaxon Hulsey; his great grandchildren, Emory Hopkins, Novaleigh Prime, Kyleigh Dorsey and Kinzlee Dorsey'; his siblings, Patrick Jarvis (Kim) and Jean Burks; and his uncle Sam Jarvis (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to the Grace Neema Ministries in John's memory.
