With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Louise Hamilton of Rockmart, Georgia, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stephens and Millie Lecroy Stephens; her husband Arthur Hamilton; her grandson Andrew Hamilton; and her siblings, Ronald Stephens and Glenda Searcy.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hamilton (Shannon), Melissa Dixon (James), Linda Hamilton and Kristina Vincent (Charles); and her sister Joyce Estes. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home to help offset the families expenses.
