He was predeceased by: his parents, Herchell Stegall and Frances Bishop Stegall; his wife Sue Johnson Stegall; his grandson Devin Green; and his brother Jimmy Stegall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marie Stegall of Aragon, GA, Lisa Tapley (Shannon) of Rockmart and Shannon Freeman (Steve Hamilton) of Rockmart; and his siblings, Billy Stegall (Peggy) of Aragon and Marion Scott of Taylorsville, GA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
