Though Jeanette Carlton may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ed Carlton, Sr. and Elua Inez Deems Carlton; her husband James Donald Motes; her daughter Lynn Graves; and her siblings, John Ed Carlton, Jr., Dixie Jefferson and Frances Richards.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jo Roberts and Kenneth Carlton (Diane). She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
