She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dukes and Eva Ruth Gant (Payne). She is survived by: her husband Clarence Leevern Gilmer of Rockmart; her daughter-in-law Wesley Gilmer; her daughter Melissa Rhymer of Greenwood; her brothers, Michael Dukes of Winchester and Edward Gober of Cedartown; her grandchildren, Kayla Gilmer, Waylon Gilmer, Daniel Gilmer, Michael Higginbotham, Albert Rhymer and Ashley Rhymer; her son-in-law David Higginbotham; and also, Margie Gilmer of Rockmart and Joseph Gilmer of Rockmart.
