He is survived by: his wife Debbie Grubbs; his sons, Brian Grubbs and Douglas Grubbs; and his siblings, Ricky Grubbs, Sarah Burdette and Debra Kay Hudson. He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
