With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Joseph Singleton of Rockmart, Georgia, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gilmore Singleton and Marion Lenore Bryson Singleton. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ruth Rainey Singleton of Rockmart; his children, Debra Singleton of Hiram, Kathy Singleton of Rockmart, Patricia Williams of Dunwoody and James Alan Singleton (Carmen) of Snellville; and his brother David Gilmore Singleton of Morris, Alabama. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
