It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Harold Pilgrim Sr. of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Chester Pilgrim; his former wife Margaret Kirby Pilgrim; his brother Jimmy Darrell; and his stepdaughter Leigh Anne Abernathy. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Pilgrim; his children, Vickie Teal (Kenny), Jim Pilgrim and Cynthia Cooper (Cary); his stepchildren, Sharon McGatha and Jay Haney (Wendy); and his siblings, Inez Lucas, Eloise Robinson, Dorothy Jacobs, Edna Hatfield, David Pilgrim, Wayne Pilgrim, Tim Pilgrim, Gary Pilgrim and Bobby Pilgrim. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
