She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee Howell and Corine Campbell Howell; her former husband James Talerico, II; her husband Carson N. Kennedy; her son James "Jimmy" Talerico, III; and her sisters, Vernelle Jones and Edna Autry.

She is survived by: her niece June McCullough of Rome; and her nephews, Mack Garner of Loma Linda, Frankie Garner of Marietta and Freddie Garner of Marietta.
