He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Marvin McRae, Sr. and Lillian Russell McRae; and his spouse Jean Fambro. He is survived by: his children, Michael D. McRae (Beverly) of Cedartown, GA, Alan McRae of Atlanta, GA, Martha M. Bosworth (Bill) of Marietta, GA and Nancy M. Knight (Jack) of Rome, GA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Jean F. McRae memorial fund at Rockmart First United Methodist Church.
