He was predeceased by: his parent Mattie Mae Ledbetter (Travis); his wife Juanita Ledbetter (Maulden); his son James Wade Ledbetter; and his brother Douglas Ledbetter. He is survived by: his parent Wylie Ledbetter (Jack); his son Howard Eugene Ledbetter of Rockmart; his son-in-law Deborah Holland; his sisters-in-law, Robert Ledbetter of Albuquerque, James Daniel, Joyce Ledbetter of Cedartown, Joseph Ledbetter, Pat Ledbetter of Villa Rica, Allen Ledbetter and Andrea Ledbetter of Villa Rica; and also, Ricky Holland of Carrollton and Jacqueline Annette Brown of Surprise. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
