She was predeceased by: her parents, William Olguin and Katie Bernal Olguin; her husband Walter Eugene "Gene" Phillips; her daughter Sharon Yvette Jackson; her grandson Jeremy Benjamin Phillips; and her sister Katie Loyd.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanie Bean, Pam Pierce, Keith Phillips, Kathy Swanson, Mark Phillips and Kim Leatherwood; and her grandchildren, Chris, Jamie, Layla, Amber, Kyle, Jake, Chelsea, Lane, Savannah, Wiyanna and Leali. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
