He is survived by: his wife Louise Wigley Sanders; his children, Beverly Compton, Timothy C. Sanders (Gloria) and Ashley Sanders; and his grandchildren, Tammy Prater, Paula Chastain, Jason Brand, David Lanier, Brad Lanier, Katie Lanier and Megan Sanders. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
