She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, A. P. Minshew and Jenelle C. Minshew (Chastain); her sister Judith A. Minshew; her children, Karla G. Helton and Michael A. Helton (Chelsy); her grandchild Collins L. Helton; and her cousin Deana Floyd of Albany, Georgia..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The O'Connor Center Band, 611 Winona Street, Knoxville, TN 37917.
