We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2024, at the age of 75, Gerald G. Wix of Rockmart, Georgia, born in Villa Rica, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerald has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wix and Mildred Wix; and his siblings, Wayne Wix, Joann Mammenga and Donny Wix.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Wix (Tessa), Kimberly Aikens (Jonathan) and Jamie Driskell (David). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous other family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (566 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064).
