He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Lee Stafford and Ellen Marie Lafferty Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Riley Stafford of Rockmart, GA; his children, Amy Stafford of Rockmart, GA and Bryan Stafford of Rockmart, GA; his grandchildren, Sarah Daysha, Mariah, Alex, Rebecca, Gabriel, Emma and Brendan; and his siblings, Ron Stafford, Doyle Stafford, Ken Stafford, Angela Clark and Joanna Horton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
