She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Stephenson and Ruby Wilson Stephenson; her former husband Billy Woods; her husband Billy Zeke Simmons; and her siblings, Robert, Albert Stephenson and Elizabeth Stephenson.
She is survived by: her son Steve Woods (Connie); her granddaughter Nonnie Woods; and her sisters, Mittie Harrell, Betty West and Dollie Dansby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
