With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dara Jackson Yates (Rockmart, Georgia), who passed away on August 11, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jackson, Sr. and Annie Lou Eidson Jackson; and her husband Thomas Denson. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Crawford of Rockmart; her children-in-law, Eddie Crawford of Rockmart, David Yates, Debbie Yates of Toccoa, Dwain Yates, Deonne Yates of Rockmart, Tim Yates and Adria Yates of Lawrenceville; her brother Roy Jackson, Jr. of Villa Rica; her sister-in-law Christine Jackson of Roopville; her grandchildren, Maria Crawford Norris (Jimmy), Robert Yates, Thomas Yates (Maggie), Sam Yates (Kaela), David Yates, Heath Yates, Sam Martin, Colin Yates and Ella Yates; and her great grandchildren, Jake Norris, Jackson Norris, Ezra Yates and Finley Yates.
Floral donations will be accepted or those wishing to do so, may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church, Whole Heart Building Fund, P. O. Box 388, Rockmart GA 30153 in memory of Mrs. Yates.
