It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cody Allen Myers of Rockmart, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Tembria Jill Wilson Myers; his brother Justin Myers; and his grandfathers, Wayne Martin and Forrest Cooper. He is survived by: his father Terry Cooper; his son Elijah Junek; his grandmother Joyce Martin; his aunt Vikki Wisniewski; and his nieces and nephews, Chayton Emmett-Myers of Rockmart, Damien Myers of Rockmart, Dekel Myers of Rockmart, Sky Myers of Rockmart, Makayla Plemons of Rockmart and Hope Myers of Rockmart.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the local food drive in memory of Cody.
