He was predeceased by: his parents, Corda Lee Davenport Pope and Hughie Samuel Pope; and his sons, Ricky Pope and Coy Pope. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ballew; and his sons, Micky Pope (Judy) of Rockmart and Mark Pope (Kendra) of Rockmart. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive along with many nieces and nephews.
