He was predeceased by: his parents, R. F. Ballew and Helen King Ballew; and his siblings, R. K. "Bud" Ballew and Mary Hedburg. He is survived by: his wife Mary Linda Mahan Ballew; his sons, Steven Ballew and Jason Ballew (Renee); and his siblings, Tom Ballew (Suzanne), Betty Sarrell and Martha Luck (Ken). He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
