He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Hiett and Clara Littlefield Hiett; and his stepson Chris Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sparks Phillips Hiett; his children, Madison Hiett, Elizabeth Hiett, Michael Hiett, Jeffery Hiett and Loraine Mullin; his brother Horace Hiett; and his grandchildren, Sean Gall, Bronson Phillips, Victoria Williams, William Phillips, Emelia Taylor, Maria Irvin and Phillip Mullin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
