He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Maulding, Sr. and Thelma Estelle Harris Maulding; his daughters, Brenda Williams and Glenda Maulding; and his siblings, Marie Brownlow and Cleo Maulding, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann McDonald Maulding of Rockmart; his children, Vickie Hayes (Ricky), Denisa Estes (Terry), Serrina Moss (John) and Shawn Maulding; and his sister Frances Wills. He is also survived by five step-children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
