He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Scott Phillips and Joseph Phillips. He is survived by: his son Zachary Phillips; his brothers, Gordon, Edward, Harold, Harry, James and Gerald Phillips; his spouse Amy "Paddy" Austin; his daughter Kitzi Underhill (David) of Rockmart; his brother Ross Phillips of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Whitney Harkins, Meagan Jernigan, Amy Underhill, Austin Phillips, Misty Rinehart, Mark Rinehart and Kristy Rinehart. He is also survived by six Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
