He is survived by: his children, Marcia Kenney and Sammy Barrett (Missy); his grandchildren, Lacey Whisenant, Millie Barrett, Victoria Thompson (Dalton) and Cody Barrett (Daniell); his great grandchildren, James Hodges, Gauge Hodges, Drizston Hodges, Aubree Hodges, Zane Hodges, Trendon Jackson, Dakota Stubbs and Adalyn Stubbs; his great great grandchild Alina Hodges; and his sister Emily Sparks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
