It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Sue Ponder Crowe of Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Betty Sue Ponder may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Sue Ponder touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Marshall and Ally Mae Ponder Marshall; her husband Tommy Alton Crowe; her brother Gene Marshall; and her aunt Elizabeth Witton.
She is survived by: her sons, Jason Crowe (Daphne) and Darrell Crowe. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
