She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Houston and JoAnn Leatherwood Houston; her husband Larry D. Duke; her son Ricky D. Hayes; and her granddaughter Lynn Marie Allen.
She is survived by: her son Tim; her daughter-in-law Patricia Hayes of Rockmart; her siblings, Janice Adams of Cedartown, Martha Coleman of Rome, Patricia Atkins of Lindale, Peggy Houston of Buchanan, Pamela Dunn of Cedartown, Sara McElroy of Temple, Linda G. Carter of Bremen and Johnny Houston of Buchanan; her grandchildren, Joseph Scott Hayes, Misty Leigh Hayes and Stephanie Hayes; and her great grandchildren, Shyanne Hayes, Sophiemae Hayes, Stella Hayes, SJ Hayes, Brandon Allen, Christopher Allen and Christian Waters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mrs. Duke.
