He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Ellen Sterling, Alvina Chance, Patrice Cowart (Rickey), Kathy Moseley (Blandon), Gary Swearingen (Martha) and Jack Spivey; and his friends, John V. Thigpen, Monroe, Shirley Lovett and Delmas Brown.
