He was predeceased by: his parents, William Browne and Carol Browne; his son Gary Hoehn; and his daughter-in-law Donna Hoehn. He is survived by: his brother James Browne; his wife Mary Butler Brown; his children, John Hoehn of Glen Burnie, MD and Kim Gilbert (Timothy) of Kingston, GA.; his sister-in-law Jane Browne of Williamsville, NY; his grandchildren, David Vigil (Kelly), Mary Long, Anthony Kruse (Luisa) and Arielle Gilbert (Kendal); and his great grandchildren, David, Vigil, Jr., Sherry Wells and Ulysseus Kruse.
