He was predeceased by : his parents, Dave McClure and Emma McClure; and his brothers, Keith, Dewey and Orville McClure.

He is survived by : his wife Anita White McClure; his children, Valerie Carpenter (Brad) of Ringgold and Troy McClure Jr. (Melissa) of Rock Spring; and his grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter Miller (Peyton) of Lookout Valley, Andrew Carpenter of Ringgold, Faith, Joy and Hope McClure of Rock Spring.
